I was born and raised in Potsdam, New York, and I graduated from St. Lawrence University in 1993 with a BA in English writing. I am a 1997 graduate of Western New England College School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts where I was a member of Phi Alpha Delta and served as President of the student chapter of the American Bar Association.
In my third year of law school I had the opportunity to represent clients before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. This experience cultivated my desire to be a litigator. In the courtroom, I felt that I was truly able to support and help others. Making a difference in the lives of my clients is still very rewarding.
Outside the courtroom, I enjoy many outdoor activities including hiking and canoeing, and I also play tennis, racquetball and golf.
